Staff Information
Laurel Girls State is a volunteer run program and is always looking for new staff without whom we would not be successful.
We are always looking for help behind the scenes as well as counselors to supervise and guide the students.
We encourage LGS alumni to return on staff!

Junior Staff Applications are due by May 1st 2024.
Our Volunteers Are Expected To:

Promote Laurel Girls State as a worthwhile learning experience for themselves and students.

Be willing to volunteer their time for the duration of the program

Celebrate diversity, be open-minded, are able to listen, and respect others.

Desire to educate students about the basic ideas and principles of government that will help to ensure the survival of democracy.

Are physically able to maintain our active schedule and guide energetic high school students.

Willing to step up and help when needed.
