The week at Girls State is a strenuous time, requiring emotional stability as well as physical stamina. The hours are long and the girls will be travelling from dorm to classrooms to auditorium.

To protect the health of all, we require a physical be taken within a one year period prior to the start of Laurel Girls State. A medical form is enclosed for completion by the candidate's physician. Any physicals will be at the expense of the delegate.

Girls State will try to meet the needs of delegates for dietary purposes and rooming, however we cannot meet needs due to personnal preferences.
